Hi, I’m Jess — the face behind Jess K Photography.

Based in Alberta, I specialize in equine photography, sale photos, western lifestyle, and capturing the real moments that matter. Horses have always been a huge part of my life, so photographing them isn’t just a job for me — it’s something I genuinely understand and enjoy.

One of my favorite things to shoot is horse sale photos. A great set of photos can make all the difference when marketing a horse. My goal is to highlight each horse’s build, expression, movement, and personality so potential buyers can truly see what makes them special. Clean, professional images help horses stand out in ads and give sellers the best chance at getting noticed.

Along with sale photos, I also photograph barrel racing events, western lifestyle sessions, families, and couples. I love capturing the grit of the arena just as much as the quiet moments between horse and rider.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me on the farm, riding horses, running our western boutique, or staying busy with the many hats that come with small business life.

My style is true western — natural, bold, bright and authentic. I believe photos should tell a story and capture moments you’ll want to remember for years to come.  Because at the end of the day, photos aren’t just pictures — they’re memories you get to keep.
